Purpose: The purpose of music during Mass is to bring the community into a shared experience of prayer and worship during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.

Mission: The mission of the English Music Ministry is to unite parishioners in the Mass, guiding them in prayers such as the Kyrie, Gloria, the psalm response, Sanctus, and during the Eucharistic celebration, especially at communion, focusing on the Real Presence of Jesus. They are also tasked with sending the parishioners forth with joy to spread the Gospel.

Vision: Our vision is to continue leading the English-speaking congregation of Saint Malachy into the mystery of the Eucharist through music, combining traditional and Latin hymns with contemporary music to enrich the Mass experience. We aim to involve more members in the ministry and collaborate with the Hispanic and Haitian music ministries during celebrations and feast days.
